Violet Hour Mural

Overview
Located at the Violet Hour in Chicago's beloved Wicker Park neighborhood, this roughly 10' x 30' mural is part of a seasonal rotation. My husband and I had the opportunity to collaborate on this piece.
Challenge
Results
Up close, the mural is an abstract grid of color. Step back, and it becomes a sunset over water. Positioned next to a daycare center, it celebrates youth through vibrant color and playful shapes. We spent three days bringing it to life, and it was one of our most enjoyable projects together. The mural stayed up throughout the fall and winter season.
